Dogs and children
Children are welcome with adults. Well-behaved dogs are welcome too, and we just ask visitors to keep dogs under control around livestock and other guests.
A quick note on our own animals:
Luna (our sheepdog) is often on site. She's a working dog and isn't particularly friendly around visiting dogs, so if you arrive with one we’ll make sure Luna is safely put away.
Tippie and Carlito (the farm cats) are often around, but they usually make themselves scarce if dogs are visiting.
On the fields, you can see our flock of Herdwick and Texel sheep. The lambs usually arrive in March. In addition to the ewes and lambs, there are two rams, Billy Flint (a Herdwick) and George (a Blue Texel).
Groups
We welcome groups, including visits through established tour companies. If you're planning a larger group visit please get in touch so we can suggest the best timing and format.
Challenge 25
We operate a Challenge 25 policy. If you're lucky enough to look under 25, we’ll ask for ID. Hosted tastings are for adults aged 18+.
A quick note on photos and reviews
We are careful about photographing guests and sharing identifiable images publicly without permission. You can come for a visit without feeling like you’ve wandered into our content plan.
We always welcome feedback and reviews and are grateful when visitors provide these.
