Wedding & Event Wines
Wedding and Event wines from Oast Wood Vineyard
If you're planning a wedding, private celebration, or corporate event and are looking for a supplier of wines that are local to Kent, distinctive, and connected to place, you’re in the right spot. Oast Wood produces small batch, single estate grown wines from a single vineyard near Tenterden. Our wine is shaped by the soil, seasons, and the wider landscape of woodland, meadow and hedgerow around it. For weddings and events, we are delighted to work with couples, planners, and venues who want a wine offer that feels considered and authentic and that adds something memorable to the day.
How we work
Every event has its own structure, and the way we support you will depend on your venue and arrangements. We can:
supply wines directly to you or your planner,
work alongside your venue or caterer,
advise on quantities and selection, and
help shape a wine offer that fits your menu and the flow of the day.
We are used to working flexibly and keeping things straightforward. We don’t operate as a wedding venue but work with venues across Kent and the surrounding area.
Our wines
All our wines are grown at a single vineyard at Potts Farm on a mix of sandstone, clay, loam, and ironstone. This diversity in the soil brings both roundness and a distinctive mineral character to the wines. The wines are made in single harvest small batches with a light touch approach and are designed to sit naturally alongside food and across an entire event.
We focus on still wines alongside Col Fondo as our sparkling wine. If you would prefer a traditional sparkling wine with a champagne style, we can partner with other local small-scale vineyards to provide options.
Planning your wines
Most weddings and events work best with a small number of well-chosen wines used at the right points in the day. Here’s a simple way to think about it:
Arrival and reception: Col Fondo 2024, Oast Wood Rose 2023.
Fresh, welcoming wines that work well as guests arrive and during early conversations.
Canapes and informal food: Rose 2023, Flock 2024 (orange wine).
Versatile across a wide range of lighter dishes, including vegetable-led plates and sharing food.
Starters and lighter courses: Luna's Bacchus 2023.
A fresh, aromatic white-suited fish, poultry and lighter dishes, particularly with herbal or citrus elements.
Main course: Divico 2024 (red), Luna's Bacchus 2023.
A balanced red for roast meats and richer dishes, with a white option alongside.
Toasts and evening: Col Fondo 2024.
A lighter sparkling wine that works naturally for toasts as well as later in the day.
A considered approach
The aim isn't to overcomplicate things. It's to choose wines that feel right for the occasion and that carry comfortably through the day. For many couples and hosts, that means offering something that reflects where they are, what they value, and the kind of experience they want to create for their guests.
